New Announcement: Dear Colleagues,
You may be aware a new Capacity Planning and Monitoring System (CPMS) system is being created which is a comprehensive planning and monitoring system for inpatient’s and (later) non-inpatient activity which will allow commissioners and provider collaboratives to record, maintain and report on commissioned beds, day care contacts and other non-inpatient contacts to undertake strategic capacity planning. The system will also allow individual healthcare providers to specify bed availability at service/ward level.
Currently there are two systems being used by colleagues: CAMHS Bed Availability (CAMHS BA) and WebBeds (used by Perinatal), these systems will move over to and be replaced by the CPMS system.
As part of the development of the CPMS system a User Acceptance Testing Group (UAT) has been created where colleagues from Provider Collaborative, Providers, Regional, National Mental Health Specialised Commissioning Team are part of this UAT group.
Colleagues are invited to join the UAT group to help support the development of the CPMS system, the anticipation is CAMHS BA system will move over to the CPMS system by end of August/early September and colleagues will start to use it shorty after following demo/training session
The UAT Group meets every Thursday at 2pm for 1 hour and if colleagues wish to join the group please e-mail Irfan.siddiq@nhs.net, stevenash@nhs.net, farah.dossa1@nhs.net as they will be able to send the meeting invite over.
